A Navy submarine technician who recently returned from a six-month deployment in southwest Asia was arrested early Sunday after the bodies of a woman and baby were found in the basement of an apartment, police and Navy officials said. Charles A. Davis Jr., 21, was being held on a $3 million bond on two counts of murder and one count of capital felony, which carries the possibility of the death penalty.
