Woman sent to jail after spitting on judge

Lisa Shaffer, 32, appeared in Deerpark Town Court Sunday on child endangerment charges. Police said Shaffer shot a pellet gun at her husband in front of the couple's son during a domestic dispute. Authorities said Shaffer became angry at Judge John Ehre after he sent her to jail on $500 bail on the endangerment charge. Shaffer then spit on the judge twice, prompting her five-day sentence.Posted by stupefied
