Solomon--who has three cases pending and has previous convictions for misconduct involving weapons and assault--allegedly choked the woman until she lost consciousness, then assaulted her Jan. 6 while the two were in a truck Solomon had recently bought from the woman's husband, Schlumbohm said. The two were driving around in the Chevrolet for a short time until the woman asked to be taken home, the officer said. Solomon refused and instead drove the woman out of town, Schlumbohm said, where he assaulted her. "He definitely beat her up," Schlumbohm said.
